NO ARTIST TALENT REQUIRED. Rug hooking is like zentangles, creative and peaceful. I will show you how to zentangle and how to create and adapt these doodles to rug hooking. From there you can create your own abstract design. These designs can be added to current patterns or you can create your own original piece. The artistic skills you develop will help in colour planning and composition of rug hooking designs. The interaction of colours in the wool is fun and amazing. The zentangle lines can also be used for borders and/or backgrounds. This will provide you with another skill to use in your hooking toolkit.
