Linda Marchbank – Beyond Hooking

IMG_1101 Step out of the box and see what you can create with a winter palette of colour, subtle   values, a variety of textures, fabrics, yarns and creative stitches. We will explore the ”   fabulous 13 ” creative stitches and apply a study of line, value and   texture to your   unique design ,as well as look at how these techniques can be applied to   traditional   hooked patterns suiting modern decor.
No previous experience in alternate techniques is necessary but an intermediate   mastery of hooking skills is needed. Experienced students will learn to apply what they   know in new ways.
Individual patterns will be available for purchase but those wishing to design their own   may do so under guidelines and instructor approval in order to maximize the learning   experience.
